Hello Friends of CFRC,
It is time for a big update. Chicago Furniture Recycling Center is official in the State of Illinois as a nonprofit. Next we approach the federal government for 501c3 status.
It could take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months but I think it will be closer to 2 weeks :) if the process is as quick as it has been so far. As soon as we have tax exempt status we will begin the fundraising drive we have designed.
I hope this message finds you well and ready to advocate for the good things CFRC will be doing in the very near future.
Oh and get ready to volunteer!!!!!
